
i just found the work of
lucy sarneel last night and was immediately attracted to her mixed media necklaces. i love her combination of traditional looking textiles with modern metalwork, namely simple and bold geometric silhouettes. i like that the metalwork both contrasts and complements the fabric. the varying characteristics of the materials and the shapes, patterns, and final compositions are striking.
