more new photo books

i just got these new photobooks back from snapfish. i thought it would be nice to archive the other work i made during my first year at penland just as i did my first line drawings/borderlines. the red book is for regal graffiti and the beige book is the barns exhibition. i considered trying a different self-publishing site but went with snapfish so i could get the same look for the new books as the first one i made. now i have a trio of books that are both a great way to promote and archive my work.

last week my wonderful photographer, hank drew, took pictures of the work i made for the penland resident artist show "the barns." we have worked together for 5 years and he always does such an excellent job. i have posted my favorites here and the rest are on flickr.

the barns: 2009 opening

the barns: 2009 opening reception is this evening at 7pm at the penland gallery. the show features the work of penland's current resident artists. i checked it out the other day - it's a wonderful show of diverse work that all looks great grouped together side by side. i added more pictures of the work i made for the show to my flickr page - more views and details.
