bow brooch
i recently finished a few new spray painted pieces. i revisited white for these and added more layers of paint than i usually do because i wanted the surface to be even stronger and have more depth. i also worked with similar forms that i have worked with before just to try them all again. what i am most excited about, though, is my new shape - the bow - created as another way to add dimension to work that tends to be pretty flat. the bow feels very feminine and nostalgic to me.

LOVE the tiny slivers of color peeking through the white!
I like how the different layers show through.
